Meet the Intern
Kaelyn Duke (she/her/hers) is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Education in Student Affairs at UCLA. She recently graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2020 with a B.S. in Psychological & Brain Sciences and a B.A. in Sociology, and also earned a University Service Award for her dedication and service to the University of California. During her time at UCSB, she gained a variety of experience working as a Gaucho Tour Guide, Visitor Center Intern, Student Life Intern, University Center Governance Board Member, Student Conduct Committee Member, and being a NASPA Fellow through her university's NUFP program. Along with her current CARE internship, Kaelyn is also a volunteer committee member on the Student Conduct Committee at UCLA and is a representative for her graduate cohort. Her primary research interests include mental health on college campuses, increasing diversity on college campuses, supporting diverse students, and institutional racism.
In her spare time, Kaelyn enjoys binge-watching TV shows, trying out new food recipes, and practicing yoga.
