Prevention Education Advocate

Heaven is a Prevention Education and Outreach Advocate who focuses on providing education around sexual violence prevention for student, staff, and faculty on campus. Heaven prioritizes intersectionality, anti-oppression, and trauma-informed frameworks to center conversations around the eradication of sexual violence for all people. When working directly with survivors, Heaven is a champion of empowerment and encourages survivors to honor their own voices, stories, and experiences. Heaven will be graduating with a M.S. in Marriage in Family Therapy in Spring of 2026 from California State University, Northridge. While completing this program, Heaven was a SACA Advocate with StrengthUnited serving the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valley areas. Simultaneously, she was a MFT trainee intern providing therapy services to families involved with DCFS, and children, teens, and adults who were survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Heaven is a fellow Bruin, earning her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in African American Studies. Heaven is a California native, originally from Compton, CA. When not working you can catch Heaven dancing, watching a new tv show, listening to podcasts, and reading.
