Peer Educator
Mari is a 3rd year Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology with a minor in Biomedical Research. She is actively involved in research focused on cellular stress responses, lysosomal function, and macrophage biology, with the goal of better understanding disease mechanisms and improving human health. Mari is passionate about bridging science and community impact, and serves as a co-president for Teddy Bear Hospital at UCLA, where she helps educate children about health and medical care in an engaging, accessible way.
